Tarok against a computer that actually plays

The great fear of playing a computer is boredom: an opponent throwing cards for no reason. The bots of Tarok 124 are written by the table's rules: they count trumps, bid to the strength of their hand, double when they smell blood and defend the pagat to the last trick. Each has a personality, so no two tables feel alike: cautious Ana is a different evening from daring Miha.

Is online tarok fair?

In Tarok 124 the games run on the server: the cards are shuffled by the server, not by a player's device, moves are checked against the rules, and the result is the same for everyone at the table. That is also why there is no offline play; fairness costs exactly that much.
